Lesley-Ann Brandt was born in the city of Cape Town in South Africa on 2 December 1981. She is an actress/model most well-known for her roles in films and TV. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. Brandt began her acting career as a New Zealander on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress was a part of numerous television series during the past ten years which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. From 2016 Brandt has played the role as Mazikeen in the series of urban fantasy Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in the town of Cape Town in South Africa. She moved to Auckland with her family when she was in her teens. Her first job was as an actress in print commercial advertisements. Before she was a well-known model, she worked as an retail salesperson as well as consultant to recruiters in the field of information technology. She was first seen in a featured appearance in 2009's New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity which featured her in the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2021, when she played the role of a slave girl Naevia for the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena in the year 2021, she played the character of Naevia. Craig Parker was her co-star in three separate TV shows which include Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The role she was playing first came to her in Mazikeen the demon that seeks bounty on Netflix's hit TV show Lucifer. This is her biggest role yet. In the series, she co-stars with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
